Hello, I am Abbey Smith. I am a senior at Middle Tennessee State University and I major in Film & Video Production with a minor in Writing. Film has been my passion and obsession for as long as I can remember. Film has shaped me into the person I am today. The art of moviemaking is very important to me, which is why I have chosen it as my path in life.

I’m currently in the pre-production process of my senior capstone film, It Had To Be You, a rom-com set in the 1970s. This is a project that represents everything I’ve learned and the creative voice I’ve developed throughout college. This film is my opportunity to showcase my authentic style and create a professional set that reflects the real life film industry standards.
