I'm creating this GoFundMe for my mom, Abbey Guy. We’re asking for help from loved ones and from strangers who have the means to support financially and emotionally. As most of you know, my mom is a very strong, independent woman. She raised my brother and me on her own, doing everything in her power to give us a comfortable life. She never asked for help; she just figured it out. Well, now we’re at a point where help is needed. She has an autoimmune disease which disqualifies her from getting short-term disability from her place of work. She is currently fighting an aggressive cancer, the origin of which is unknown as of right now due to it being in numerous areas in her body. She will be starting chemo next week and will have appointments every other week until February 2026. Once her tumors have shrunk, they plan on doing surgery to remove them. All money raised will give her financial security from being out of work, as she’s used to working 50+ hours a week to make ends meet. We appreciate everyone. Thank you!
