Aayden Hayes was 13 years young when he tragically lost his life to gun violence May 29th, 2024 at a safe, beloved park in his neighborhood of Bellevue Tennessee. Aayden was a sweet, loving, little boy full of life adored by his siblings, parents, friends teachers, and coaches. Just days before the shooting Aayden celebrated graduating Bellevue Middle School with his family. Additionally, Aayden's 16 year old sister was injured in the shooting and is physically & mentally recovering as well.

Not only does this family have to deal with the unexplainable loss of their son, but the extreme financial burden of gun violence death and gun violence survivor injuries as well. The average initial hospital cost alone for a non-fatal gun injury is $124,071. This is in addition to the funeral expenses the family will face for their son, lost wages from work, physical rehabilitation costs for Aayden's sister, trauma therapy for the entire family which includes 3 surviving children and so much more. Please help ease the financial burden on this family and allow them to heal and grieve from a tragedy no parent or sibling should ever have to endure.
