Support: Aaskrit’s Fight Against Cancer
Donation protected
My name is Aayushree Pokharel, and I never imagined I’d be writing something like this. My younger brother, Aaskrit, is just 27 years old. A year ago, he was diagnosed with Stage IV metastatic colon cancer.
Since then, he’s been in the fight of his life.
The cancer had already spread to his lymph nodes when it was discovered. From that moment forward, everything changed for him, for me, and for our entire family. He’s now receiving treatment at the Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute and Research Centre in India, including advanced immunotherapy his best chance at slowing or stopping the progression of the disease.

Through it all, Aaskrit has stayed strong. His doctors have told us, “Your brother is a fighter—he’s responding with incredible willpower.” We’ve seen it ourselves: even on the hardest days, he never gives up.
But the financial reality is harsh. Cancer care at this level is astronomically expensive. Over the last five months, we’ve already stretched every resource we have.We are raising $65,000 to help cover the cost of his ongoing care.
How Your Support Will Be Used:
Immunotherapy & Chemotherapy: These advanced therapies are the core of his treatment and the most expensive part—each cycle costs thousands of dollars.
Hospitalization: Regular in-patient stays for chemotherapy and immunotherapy administration, medical supervision, and emergency care.
Diagnostic Scans & Lab Work: PET scans, MRIs, blood tests, and genetic profiling to monitor progress and adjust treatment.
Medications & Supportive Care: Critical drugs that manage symptoms, boost immunity, and minimize side effects.
We’ve come a long way, but we can’t keep going without help. If you’re able to give, please know that it will directly support Aaskrit’s treatment. And if you can’t donate, sharing this campaign means just as much.
Thank you for reading. Thank you for caring.
