We are beyond grateful for your prayers, support, and encouragement. Aaron has been approved for transplant evaluation. The evaluation is an extensive series of full body/organ testing. This part is critical and brings us closer to the possibility of his transplant. As we take the next steps, we ask for continued prayers!

I am Aaron’s mom, Kavita, and I am reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for support during an incredibly difficult time. Aaron was born with a fighting spirit, and from the very beginning, he has faced more than most can imagine. Through every challenge, he has continued to push forward with courage and hope.

Aaron was diagnosed with alveolar capillary dysplasia and pulmonary hypertension, and he received his first lung transplant at just 18 months old, followed by a second transplant at 4 years old. After years of hospital visits, constant care, and anti-rejection medications, Aaron has now reached a point where medication can no longer help. His doctors have shared that another lung transplant is his only option, as there are no further treatments available.

Aaron has continued to live a full and meaningful life—his passion for cars and track days, going away to college, demonstrating resilience through many challenges, and ultimately graduating with his BA.

To qualify for another transplant, Aaron must relocate to North Carolina for outpatient care to prepare his body for the transplant journey. He will need to remain there for the procedure, rehab, and follow-up care for a minimum of six months.

Donations will help cover the costs of relocating for Aaron’s care, including medical-related needs, temporary housing, travel, daily living expenses, and costs not fully covered by insurance. Any amount helps, and sharing this fundraiser means just as much.
