Support Aaron's Sweet Boy, Hamburger
Donation protected
Hi all, I'm crying as I write this. My boy, my son Hamburger is not well. He's declined sharply over the last 3 months, losing 3 pounds of weight, being extremely constipated, and more. He's been to the vet 5 times in the past 3 months and there isn't much else that I can do for him. This morning the 10th of May I brought him back after going just yesterday for a 2nd enema to help with his constipation and nothing is working. I'm currently giving him wet food mixed with
water in a syringe to try and give him something, but my poor boy is just lethargic and wanting to sleep curled up, mostly next to me as the photo shows.
Those of you that met him over the years know he's literally the sweetest boy ever. Having lost his brother Kurt so young at just age 5 back in October of 24' has been devastating enough, but now I'm on the precipice with Hammy, who's almost turning 13.
Suffice to say I've incurred some crazy medical bills between Kurt and Hamburger these last 7 or so months, and I've tried to take it in stride and do it alone. But at this time I'm turning to anyone who might have just a little something to help.
Those of you that know me know I wouldn't ask if it wasn't needed. And everyone knows so many are struggling right now. If you cant donate for poor Hammy, please at least just share my boy's story.
There's a very good chance I'll have to make that hard decision next week to say goodbye, but I'm giving it one last hard push. I can't stand to have him suffer or just exist. That would be far too selfish, and I've had the feeling for a while that his time might just be here. Life gives and takes away...
If you've made it this far, thank you for your time. If my initial goal is met, anything above and beyond will go to cover some of Hamburger's past bills, BUT I will also split anything over the initial goal raised 50/50 with a local Buffalo kitty charity or rescue.
At the top you can see his most recent bill from just yesterday, May 9th. My goal also covers part of his past bill, and just today the 10th of May we had a 2nd enema as well to try and get him going.

Thank you all again so much for even reading Hamburger's story. I love my boy with all my heart, and I appreciate any help or thoughts sent his way.
Best,
Aaron
