Saturday Jun 28th update:

I am STILL in here. 17 days now. I'm so over this. I came in on 11 Jun for a stomach ache and no appetite. They put me in a room and installed an NG tube to suction my stomach. On the 15th they took me into surgery to relieve an adhesion caused by an appendectomy I had in 1992. Immediately after waking up from that surgery, I was in agony. So on the 16th they took me back for a 2nd much more invasive surgery, they cut my whole belly open, pulled out all my guts and removed a section of my small intestine, and sewed me back up. A couple days after that surgery, I was eating and I actually felt halfway decent. That didnt last. I started to get sick again. So they took me back off food, and diagnosed me with C-diff (a bowel infection that is caused by antibiotics, but also treated by..... the same antibiotics). All I know is I am tired, frustrated, confused, still bloated, not hungry and losing my mind in this place.

Update #2

Monday 7 Jul Update:

I am now in the hospital at Poudre Valley in Colorado. I was discharged from CRMC in Cheyenne on 2 Jul, and spent the past few days at home in misery withering away. After several calls back to CRMC and some deliberation, we decided to bring me down here to Colorado. So far they have performed a CT with contrast and discovered I STILL have an obstruction and I also have an absess both of which are preventing my recovery. I dont have a plan or a timeline yet. I AM going to make it through this though. Huge thanks to everyone for your continued prayers and support. At this time I prefer no visitors outside of immediate family, as my medical care is very time consuming and visitation is tough right now. Thank you friends and love you all.
