My name is Kayla, and I am a very close friend of Krysten and Aaron Wimberly. Though to me, they are family. On June 9, at approximately 4:00 PM, Aaron's life changed in an instant. While working as a truck driver, when the neck of an rgn trailer fell onto his foot, causing him to fall and strike his head. The accident resulted in devastating injuries, completely crushing his foot from the ankle down. Tragically, doctors were left with no choice but to amputate. As you can imagine, this has created an overwhelming emotional and financial burden for Aaron and Krysten. Aaron is now facing a long road of recovery and rehabilitation and is unable to work. Krysten wants to be by his side every step of the way as they learn to navigate this life-changing situation together. To make matters even more difficult, Aaron had only recently returned to work after being out for two months due to gallbladder surgery and unexpected complications that extended his recovery. They had just begun catching up on bills and regaining financial stability when this tragedy struck.
