Support Aaron's Family's Post-Treatment Vacation

When you’re running from campus to campus falling in love, something as devastating as the "C-word" obviously doesn’t ever come to mind. Fast forward 13 years and Elizabeth & Aaron are in the thick of that very devastation with two little ones. In November 2023, Aaron was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer. Just three weeks after bringing home their second born Cameron. To say life has thrown them some bad hands would be an understatement. Having a 2 year old and a newborn is hard enough, but add a cancer diagnosis and chemo into the mix, it can be almost unbearably hard. But they’ve rallied, and are taking each day, and treatment, one at a time. Thankfully these uncomfortable, life altering treatments are coming to end soon! I think he only has 3 more thank God!!!!

A couple of months ago we rallied our friends and family to donate to a “meal fund” in order to help them on nights that Aaron had treatment. Thankfully, this was a success and they were showered with meals, gift cards and love from all over the US! But, in the light of the hardships they have faced, we know we can do more…

And this is where this gofundme comes in! We believe a surprise “end of treatment” summer vacay is just what the doctor ordered! This idea was spurred on by a conversation I had with Elizabeth a couple of months ago that hit home in so many ways; she was worried baby Cameron’s first year of life would be marred by these traumatic events. That happy memories would be hard to come by. Let’s give them that. Let’s give them sunshine, belly laughs and something happy to look forward to.

Any amount will be greatly appreciated. We are hoping to present this to them the week of Aaron’s last treatment come early June, so they can plan some summer magic of their choosing
