*Help my brother earn his Commercial Drivers License !*

Well I would like to start by trying to put as much integrity behind this story since you don't personally know me. I am a retired United States Sailor who proudly served his country and it's people for 22 years. I am a man of faith who everyday tries to walk in faith, build my personal relationship with God and be an example and a messenger of his word to others.

I am starting this Go Fund Me for my brother who unfortunately due to negative circumstances during his entire life found himself as a teenager in and out of prison due to drugs and addictions that controlled his life. To be honest unlike me who was raised by my grandparents my brother never had a chance in the toxic environment and people who grew up around. As a teenager his male role models were very lost themselves and because of that he went down a very dark path until he was truly saved by God.

He surrendered himself and not only does God's work in the church but everyday and every chance he is a messenger of the word and an inspiration too many. He has been sober for 3 plus years upon him voluntarily committing himself to a live in Christian based rehab center for over a year. Since then he has completely surrendered himself to the Lord and this has led to him working in the church, helping other addicts, having his kids in his life, being a youth sports coach and being a productive member of society. He has now become and inspiration not only to myself but many others. I am so very very proud of him.

He believes his calling is to become a truck driver and already has a job pending him getting his Commercial Drivers License (CDL), which will change his life and current circumstances. His current job just provides enough for him to help take care of his two boys and pay his bills and so he desires a career that will make him a better provider.
