Support Aaron Pelley’s Recovery After Emergency Surgery

Donation protected
On September 16th, Aaron Pelley was rushed to the hospital with severe stomach pain. After being transferred to Portsmouth Hospital, doctors discovered that Aaron had perforated diverticulitis a condition where small pouches in the colon burst, leaking into the abdominal cavity.

He was immediately taken into emergency surgery, where doctors had to remove a large portion of his colon. Aaron now has a colostomy bag that he will need for at least six months. Once his body has healed, doctors hope they may be able to reverse it with another surgery, but for now his recovery will be long and challenging.

Unfortunately, Aaron does not have health insurance. He is the sole provider for his family, and the medical bills are already starting to add up. His wife, Teresa, has just secured a new job, but hasn’t started working yet. Aaron is also a loving father to their son, Lyric, and his greatest wish is to be healthy and strong for his family. In addition to a week-long hospital stay, he may need home nursing care once he’s discharged, adding even more financial stress during this difficult time.

We are asking for help from family, friends, and the community. Whether it’s through a donation or simply sharing this page, any support means the world to Aaron, Teresa, and Lyric as they navigate this difficult journey.

Thank you for your kindness, prayers, and generosity❤️
