My name is Dana Witheft. I am a fifth-grade teacher at a wonderful bilingual school in Milwaukee, WI. One of my brilliant students, Hermione Naranjo-Feria, has been nominated to attend the National Youth Leadership Forum: Pathways to STEM summer camp that would inspire her learning journey for life. She is a go-getter, curious about the world around her. This student has set goals for herself and is blazing her own trail to accomplish them. Attending this camp will not only open academic doors for her, but it will give her an opportunity to surround herself with other self-motivated children eager to learn and expand their brains. For her to be able to attend the camp, she needs to raise $3,000 to cover the camp fees. There is no doubt in my mind that this student would walk away from this unique opportunity inspired to continue to pursue her goals, all while inspiring others.
