Support a working class person through the winter

Who this will help

Hello, my name is Hywel I am a disabled, trans, working-class person based in London. I spend a lot of time fundraising for the community and trying to give back even when I am not in good circumstances myself. I am known mainly for performing but I need some help this winter.

Why I'm fundraising

I recently had to leave my job due to some very upsetting access reasons. This has now left me incredibly financially vulnerable and very afraid. I can not apply to UC due to my living situation (I am very safe in my flat and would appreciate no further questions on this). December is supposed to be a lovely time when families are together and is a difficult month for me without this financial insecurity. I have found a couple of freelance shifts here and there, which I am so grateful for, however it has no guarantee when I will be paid and I really need help.

The impact of your support

I have started the fundraiser at this amount, it would genuinely be extremely helpful to raise as much as I possibly can so I can eat, visit my family, be able to feel safe until I can get a job, which I am currently applying to an over the top amount every day. I am estranged from my mother so don't have a lot of financial support in terms of family like a lot of people do. I know a lot of big scary things are happening in the world right now and I understand money is hard for everyone but I am truly asking you to help someone who tries to do his best for his community out.
