I need rental assistance. My husband had a stroke and is in a facility that can care for him safely. His Power of Attorney has stopped him from paying the rent because I am NOT physically capable of caring for him at home.

My Social Security will NOT cover rent and living expenses. I am in danger of being homeless unless I can get help. The state/government assistance for Rhode Island is non-existent. My goal is to get through the winter here. If you can contribute, that will make such a difference for me! Thank you for your help.
