Support a Widow's Family Amid Health Crisis
Donation protected
As some of you may know, I'm a widow with transgender kids and we've been trying to raise funds to move out of Texas for nearly two years. During that time, we've all gotten covid multiple times and I've been struggling with my health for a while. This February I got sick again, and I haven't been able to work for the past 3.5 months. I've been to multiple specialists and they have yet to determine what's wrong with me, but I'm pretty sure it's long covid.
My daily activities currently include taking out the dog, making coffee, microwaving a meal, and some days I'm also able to shower. It's difficult to concentrate or talk for very long, and standing for long periods isn't possible. My job requires me to be on my feet for 5-8 hours/day, so I don't know when or if I'll be able to return to work.
We've been surviving the past few months on credit because I thought I was gonna be able to go back to work soon, but I no longer have that hope and our credit is running out.
I'm here asking for help because we have no other income and no family support, but I don't want my kids to be homeless. They deserve so much better! I'll be crowdfunding one month at a time until I'm able to find another way to meet our needs.
We need about $3000/mo to pay our rent, bills, and for food. Anything extra that we receive will go to paying down the credit cards. Please help us if you have anything to spare. Thank you for taking the time to read our story. Please share on social media so others will be made aware of our need.
