My name is Jacy Vaughn, a first-generation farmer, a wife, and a mom of two young children. I own and operate Like Wildflowers Homestead, a raw milk dairy in West Texas, where we serve our community through a Private Membership Association.
What started as a personal journey to provide better food for my own babies grew into a growing farm now serving hundreds of families who value locally raised, carefully handled food.
Recently, our farm has been targeted by the Texas Department of State Health Services. Despite operating privately, safely, and serving only consenting members, we are now facing legal action and must defend our constitutional rights to continue operating.
We have secured legal representation, and our court date is set for February 19th at 9:00 AM in Austin, Texas.
As a small, family-run farm, the financial burden is significant. Attorney retainers, court costs, travel to Austin, and lost income during required court appearances add up quickly.
We are starting this GoFundMe to help cover:
• Legal fees
• Court expenses
• Travel costs
• Continued Farm Expenses
If you believe in supporting small family farms and your right to food freedom, we would be deeply grateful for your support — whether through a donation or by sharing this page.
Every contribution helps relieve pressure on our family and allows us to continue caring for our animals and serving our community.
Thank you for standing with us.
