I am reaching out with a heartfelt mission that is bigger than just me; it’s about service, legacy, and rebuilding a stronger community.
I am currently raising $26,000 to help purchase and revitalize a funeral home in Calumet City. This isn’t just a business venture; it’s a commitment to creating a safe, compassionate space where families can honor their loved ones with dignity, respect, and care during some of life’s most difficult moments.
A dedicated and compassionate mortuary science student at Worsham College of Mortuary Science, I am committed to serving families with dignity, care, and excellence. With a vision of opening my own funeral home and crematorium, I will be advancing my education to become a Medical Examiner, combining my passion for service, science, and community support. As a young Black woman in the funeral service profession, I strive to inspire others and bring meaningful change to the future of death care.
My goal is not only to provide professional, high-quality funeral services, but also to actively invest in and uplift the Calumet City community. I plan to create opportunities for education, mentorship, and outreach, helping families navigate grief while also building a stronger, more connected neighborhood.
This funeral home will stand as a place of comfort, trust, and community healing. With your support, I can bring this vision to life and make a lasting impact for generations to come.
Every donation, share, and word of encouragement brings me one step closer to this dream. Thank you for believing in me, supporting my journey, and helping me serve others with purpose and compassion.
Together, we can build something meaningful.
