Support a Vietnam Veteran's Dignified Burial
Donation protected
Hello everyone! My name is Billy Morris. I have decided to create a GoFundMe for a fellow Army Veteran who served honorably during the Vietnam War.
His name is Billy Ray Howard of Coker, Alabama, and he served as a Heavy Equipment Operator in the foreign jungles of Vietnam, helping to build operational bases, roadways, landing strips, etc. Very sadly, Billy lost his battle in this lifetime after 21 very difficult days lying sick in the local hospital with pneumonia, fluid on his lungs, failing kidneys, and his heart just couldn't hold up any longer.
Billy was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and most importantly, a Christian. He was always willing to lend his advice, money, and assistance to anyone in need, as he had a servant's heart and a warrior's spirit. Billy loved not only his family, friends, community, and country but he also loved Alabama Crimson Tide football.
Among Billy's last wishes was that he be buried alongside his father and mother at Tuscaloosa Memorial Park located in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
Unfortunately, Billy nor his family had a burial policy, memorial arrangement, or the funds to provide this Vietnam Veteran with an honorable and dignified burial, deserving of all our nation's military veterans.
Please help me to fulfill Billy's final request, to be laid to rest beside his father and mother.
