First of all, thank you for taking the time to read this. I know we all have our problems, but this one is a big one. For the last few years, I have been fighting for my home. A mental breakdown almost 10 years ago now left me behind on my mortgage payment. We have been fighting in court over and over, trying to find a solution with the mortgage company, but my attorney from Legal Aid Services of Oklahoma and I have been misdirected and fed misinformation repeatedly. Because of the COVID pandemic, we have been approved for funds from the state to help, and I have held on to the life insurance money from when my dad passed away last year, just waiting to give it to them... but we still have a little more to cover because of the years and years we have been led on one wild goose chase after another. I don't have much time... I have till around the end of May before I end up a homeless vet like so many. We beg you, please give anything so that my son, my cats, and I can stay in our modest house and I can start making house payments again.
