I am a young 45-year-old, husband to an amazing wife and father to two phenomenal sons. I recently started experiencing vision loss and sought medical care. I was diagnosed with a 3 cm pituitary adenoma requiring urgent surgery to prevent permanent vision loss. This surgery required a couple of specialized surgeons and could not be coordinated in my local area in a reasonable time frame. I was able to get my surgery completed, but 450 miles away from home. I will be out of work while I heal up, and I have to travel the 450 miles for follow-up appointments for the next few weeks. With the surgery I had, I cannot fly. The cabin pressure changes could cause damage to the entry hole that had to be made in my skull. I will have to have my wife take time off of work to drive me to and from appointments. I will also need lodging for a few nights during my medical travel. I am asking for a little help financially to help keep life moving forward. Thank you for anything you can give.
