Hi everyone, my name is Jake, and I’m raising funds to support a small business that has changed my life and my family’s life more than I could ever express: Java Jones Roasters in Michigan.

I’m an employee at Java Jones, and I’ve had the privilege of working for an incredible human being, Mark — the owner, a United States Marine veteran, and someone who has given more to people than he has ever asked for in return. He has supported my family in ways I will never forget, and now I want to do my part to support his dream and this incredible coffee community.

What Makes Our Coffee Different

If you’ve ever tried our coffee, you already know: there’s nothing else like it.

Unlike most roasters who rely on gas, we roast our beans using a combination of wood or hardwood charcoal **and that flavor is unmatched. It creates a depth, smoothness, and aroma that people can’t stop talking about. Also to add, we get higher quality beans and our flavored coffee is organic (beans and flavoring)

Why We Need Help Now

This year has been one of the toughest in recent history for coffee:

⚠ Coffee farms are struggling worldwide

⚠ Bean prices have skyrocketed

⚠ Tariffs added even more cost (even though they were reduced recently, the market hasn’t caught up yet)

On top of that, we spent five extra months waiting for our new espresso machine—a machine we had to keep paying on even though we couldn’t use it to serve customers. That setback hit our original kitchen budget hard.

Neither Mark nor I are people who like to ask for help…but this coffee, this community, and this dream are too important to let fade away.
