I am an Army veteran who dedicated 20 years to government service. Last year, I suddenly lost my job, no fault of my own, and I have been unemployed since. I have used up my 401k reserves, and my unemployment benefits will be over soon. (Got nailed by the IRS during tax time). I had used services in Loudoun Cares for my rent aid, but they denied to extend my benefit. I am running out of funds to pay for living expenses. To top it off, I have applied and applied for jobs and haven't received any offers.

I've applied for jobs at Target, Wegmans, receptionist jobs, admin assistants, entry-level safety officers, and research analysts. Nothing has come through, and time is running out for me to secure something and maintain living arrangements. My parents are elderly and unable to help financially. I am looking for an angel who would help me until I receive a job offer.

My job experience is vast and quite awesome, but perhaps with AI, nobody is actually reading resumes at this point. I don't know. I have never been without a job nor have lost a job in my life. I have strong integrity and work ethic. Just need someone to take their chance on me.

I believe in Divine intervention and miracles and truly hope someone would be that someone to give me hope.
