My dad, a proud veteran who has spent his life serving his country, is now facing one of the toughest battles of his life: cancer. He has always been the kind of person who puts others first—whether it was through his military service, helping neighbors, or being the steady, caring presence in our family. Now, he needs our help.

Recently, he received a cancer diagnosis that has turned our world upside down. He is currently 1,100 miles from home receiving the treatments he needs as the treatments he needs are essential, but the medical bills, travel costs, and time away from work are becoming overwhelming. Despite everything he’s going through, he continues to stay strong, positive, and determined—just like he always has.

So now it’s my turn to try and take some of the burden & stress off.

We’re raising funds to help cover:

* Medical treatments and specialist visits while his insurance covers most it doesn’t cover all.

* Travel for treatment appointments

* Medication and ongoing care

* Household expenses while he is unable to work

* Money for repairs he needs to his camper so we can get him back home to Maine as soon as treatment is done.
