Support a Veteran Family in Crisis

Hello y’all, and thank you for taking the time to read our story! It all started on November 10, 2023 when I was driving home from work and was rear-ended by a driver who left the scene of the accident. At the time, my vehicle was damaged, and I was left with some serious injuries. Three herniated discs and a rotator cuff injury to be exact. I am currently still awaiting treatment for my shoulder injury, therefore nowhere near close to settling the accident claim, and 7 months later, still with no vehicle replacement. My main source of income was my vehicle, and my physical limitations have made work extremely hard to find. Hubby is disabled and fighting the VA for benefits currently for his mental health issues.

My veteran husband and I now find ourselves experiencing homelessness and asking for your assistance. The total amount we are trying to raise includes one month in an extended stay hotel, cell phone and storage bills, medication, and transportation funds to allow us time to refocus and restart. Additional funds above the goal will

go to feeding and additional necessities as they arise. Any and all questions are welcomed and will be answered, and all statements made have documented proof that can be provided!!

UPDATE 7/31: Hubby has thankfully found a job which will allow us to be stable sooner. We are still applying for the SSVF program which will help

us with move in costs. We just have to get through the month or so until approved and funded.
