Greetings... I'm J.R., a 75-year-old retired vet on social security and limited disability. Through circumstances beyond my control, I am now in danger of losing my home to foreclosure. I have no family living in this state and have absolutely no place to go with my cat should I lose my home. I've lived in this house since 1960 when we built it, and other than the '70s decade (USAF), it is the only place I've called home.

I'm pretty much at the end of my rope and don't know what else to do... I'm very embarrassed to ask for help like this, but there is no other way possible, other than hitting the lottery, that I can raise the amount needed to stop the foreclosure. So, I'm reaching out in this manner as a pretty much last-ditch effort to save my home.
