My name is Alina Nenasheva. I am a composer, pianist, and educator with over 20 years of teaching experience. Now I'm at the final stage of completing my book Magic Fingers: New Perspective on Piano Exercises for Curious Minds of All Ages.
This book is written in clear, accessible language. It is designed for beginners, adult returning students, parents with no music background who want to support their children, and teachers who are looking for structured materials, fresh exercises, and new repertoire.
What makes it unique:
- A historical section with fascinating facts and illustrations that bring music and the piano to life.
- A rhythm section with step-by-step patterns and counting guides.
- Original exercises that are short but effective — designed to engage both sides of the brain and build technique without overwhelming students.
- Original pieces that follow each exercise section, written to sound complete and expressive — so even beginners can build a real repertoire for performance.
- Creative illustrations that children can color, making learning fun and interactive.
- A preparatory section that builds note recognition and hand coordination — the essentials for piano playing.
- A “read and follow” approach that makes learning simple, natural, and encouraging.
I’ve tested these exercises with my students, and the progress has been immediate. Many tell me they never thought piano exercises could feel this enjoyable — their results are the best proof of the book’s effectiveness. Parents who’ve seen draft pages say it gives them the tools to help their children at home, even when the teacher isn't around.
Now I am at the final step — but I cannot complete it alone. With your support, I will be able to cover:
- Professional editing and proofreading
- Graphic design and layout
- Printing and publishing costs to make it available worldwide
Every single contribution helps bring this book to life. Even one dollar makes a difference. If donating is not possible right now, simply sharing this campaign is a huge help and will be deeply appreciated.
From my heart, thank you for believing in me and in music education that inspires curiosity and creativity, and opens doors to new opportunities for learners of all ages.
With gratitude,
Alina Nenasheva
