Help Alexis Heal and Leave the UK for Her Safety

Hi, my name is Alexis. I’m a trans woman of colour and content creator, and I’m raising funds to leave the UK and start a safer life abroad. A while ago, I was violently attacked in my own apartment. 

I was left with a bloody eye. I didn’t go to the police because I didn’t feel safe. 

I’ve developed complex PTSD. I don’t really go out anymore and I don’t trust people. I’ve withdrawn into myself. I’ve stopped talking to people the way I used to  I’ve become isolated and afraid. It’s not just what happened that night . it’s the fact that it keeps happening to girls like me, over and over again. Every week I see stories of trans women being attacked, followed, harassed especially in cities like London. The UK has become increasingly unsafe for people like me, and after the recent Supreme Court ruling, it’s now legal to publicly misgender trans people. That ruling confirmed what I already felt: I don’t have dignity or protection here. This GoFundMe is my lifeline. I’m trying to raise enough to leave the UK, relocate somewhere safer, and rebuild my life with peace, healing, and possibility. A place where I can live as myself without fear. I want to continue creating, advocating, and eventually open my own wellness space but first, I need to survive.
