Hi there!

My name is Ruby, I'm a transgender woman that lives in the Seattle area, and I've fallen on a bit of hard times lately. I recently used most of my savings in order to move myself to Washington state to be closer to my support system and friend group after not being able to live with my family anymore. While I've been able to get by, some unexpected expenses have arisen and eaten into what little savings I had at the moment. I would like to continue to transition and I would also like to be able to get through the holidays relatively secure in terms of food, rent, and my medication, as right now I am paycheck to paycheck with things looking somewhat dire for me.

If you're willing to do so, I'm currently uploading this GoFundMe to help myself get through the holidays to the best of my ability (and my birthday is in December as well!).

I am only asking for assistance covering my expenses in December, which would be as follows

First 700$ for Rent

Next 200$ for Groceries

Final 200$ for Hormones/Other Medications

Anything extra is not really needed, and if I cannot reach these milestones that is okay. No amount is too small, and I would greatly appreciate anything that is sent my way, truly. Thank you for taking the time to read my story and hopefully sharing it around where you can!
