Help a Disabled Couple and Pets Stay Housed

Hello all! My family and I are seeking support with rent, bills, and groceries.

My partner and I are both trans, disabled, and currently unemployed. My partner lost their job which was paying our bills. I’ve been on the job search for a while and haven’t gotten lucky. It’s been really stressful having to survive off of little to no income.

I decided to go another route and applied for trade school. I start on 4/15 but I do need to make monthly payments of $75 while in school to be able to stay enrolled. I don’t have anything to my name so I had to take out loans and get financial aid.

Our hope is that once I finish school (10/31) and graduate, I’ll be able to secure a job in my field as soon as possible and move us to a safer environment. However, we need support while I am in school until one of us is able to secure a job.

We’ve been in survival mode for 2 years now and would love to make progress towards getting out of Texas and moving somewhere safer for us. Thank y’all for opening up your hearts and pockets to us, we appreciate our community so much. I don’t know where we’d be without your support.
