Support a Therapist's Journey to Dual Licensing

Hi guys!

As most of you know, I am a Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist. I have been incredibly blessed to do what brings me absolute joy and contentment in my professional and personal life. It has been a beautiful 15 year journey being in community with all of you in such a unique way.

I have recently thought of ways I can expand my craft while continuing to uphold what I value most — community, joy and healing. Therefore, I have decided to enroll in a local Esthetics program and become a dually licensed therapist.

I personally know how healing modalities can create seemingly small but impactful moments. As I did in my childhood, concocting face scrubs and masks followed by a facial steam. Created a space where my sister and I could connect arguments free, of whatever teenage girls argued about. I attribute these early memories to sparking this interest.

However, in order for me to confidently start this program I will need to commit my time to school and work while also balancing mom duties. This donation would offer comfort, financially, for the unpredictable days.

During this time when so many are grieving and requiring life saving aid all around the world, I’ve strongly considered whether or not the timing of this is appropriate. My heart will forever go out to those experiencing such tragedies.
