Invest in the Future: A Texan Youth's Summit Journey

My name is Aiden Engelhardt, I am a Junior at New Braunfels High School. I have been chosen as one of only 300 students from across the nation to attend the 2025 Washington Youth Summit on the Environment at George Mason University.

I’ve been given an incredible opportunity to represent the great state of Texas as a National Youth Delegate in Washington, D.C.! This prestigious summit will allow me to:

- Meet with environmental and conservation specialists, scientists, distinguished scholars, and policymakers on Capitol Hill.

- Collaborate with experts from National Geographic and the Smithsonian’s National Zoo.

- Attend educational seminars and attend behind-the-scenes opportunities at national zoos, museums, parks, and NASA.

- Gain invaluable knowledge and experience to prepare for my future as an Environmental Leader.

To make this dream a reality, I need to raise $3,500. This will cover my tuition, transportation, accommodations, meals, and all program activities.
