Wild Lotus English Programs (for Cultural Preservation and Social Transformation) helps socially engaged individuals gain global English skills. In a world at times so full of darkness, Wild Lotus students are the light. Please support us in empowering them to shine their light more brightly into our shared world.

Wild Lotus English Programs (WLEP) works with inspired and inspiring people from a diverse range of cultures & communities, including artists, academics, storytellers, educators, community leaders, and democracy, human rights, and environmental champions. WLEP courses and programs are offered at no cost to participants who come from economically limited communities yet have boundless talent and vision.

We ask for your support to allow WLEP to continue blossoming and providing support to individuals who are making a transformative impact on our world. Below is a graphic with some of our inspiring students’ voices explaining why WLEP matters to them.

Below is a graphic outlining ongoing WLEP programs, as well as another expressing our vision for 2024 which, with your loving support, we will be able to bring into bloom!

Funds raised will primarily be used to sustain Melissa’s ability to continue developing WLEP projects and classes and offering them at no charge to participants. As she cultivates her “teacher’s wildest dream,” Melissa Storms is now unaffiliated with a larger organization that would normally provide basic income, visa, work permit and teaching & learning resources/support. As such, funds raised will go toward supporting her daily living expenses in S.E. Asia (approximately $25/day), costs associated with travel & short-term visas ($250-$300 every 3 months), resources to support online teaching & learning, and micro-support for WLEP students (i.e. sim cards for those unable to afford to attend class without them).
