Hello Everyone!

My cousin and godson is 45 years old. He is a historian, teacher, and writer. His life has always been devoted to sharing knowledge, educating others, and leaving a mark through his words.

Years ago, he lost vision in one eye, and now he’s rapidly losing sight in the other. He has two young children and a deep desire to keep watching them grow, to keep writing, teaching, and living fully.

Doctors have recommended urgent surgery to try to slow down the progression of his vision loss. Unfortunately, in Argentina, this procedure is extremely expensive and not covered by public health insurance.

That’s why today, I’m turning to the kindness of others—with humility and hope. Any contribution, no matter how small, makes a big difference.

Mi primo y ahijado tiene 45 años. Es historiador, docente y escritor. Desde siempre ha vivido para transmitir conocimiento, educar, y dejar huella a través de la palabra.

Hace años perdió la visión de un ojo, y ahora está perdiendo rápidamente la del otro. Tiene dos hijos pequeños, y un profundo deseo de seguir viéndolos crecer, de seguir escribiendo, enseñando y viviendo con plenitud.

Los médicos le han indicado una cirugía urgente para intentar frenar esta pérdida. Lamentablemente, en Argentina este procedimiento es muy costoso y no está cubierto por la obra social.

Por eso hoy recurro a la solidaridad, con humildad y esperanza. Cualquier aporte, por pequeño que sea, hace una gran diferencia.
