Hello! My name is Nick J, an aspiring children's novel author. My biggest passion is writing books for the very students I teach and look after. Over the years, I have amassed whole classes of students who have had the chance to become characters in my book series: Afterschoolers.

Being an Afterschooler means being a standout student among your peers. It's not solely about academics, but about having the heart to do good for those around you. I have taught my Afterschoolers outside-the-box thinking, responsibility, and what makes a true hero.

This all can be reflected in the Afterschooler books themselves. Each book portrays a group of students who come into contact with mysterious crystals that bestow upon them superhuman abilities. With said abilities, they must face all kinds of trials to save the day.

So what brings me to GoFundMe today? As an educator in South Florida, it's hard to keep up with my passion for writing while juggling the costs of daily living. I am currently on the cusp of wrapping up many more books, but I am humbly asking for donations to help fund the costs of printing and shipping, so that I may give personal copies to the students who helped make the books happen, as well as to help provide copies for anyone interested in purchasing.
