Support a Teacher's Mission to Guatemala

Give and Teach

Hi! I am a first grade teacher in Fort Mill, SC, and I have been invited to join a team hosting a teaching conference for teachers in Santa Rosa, Guatemala. I’m excited for the opportunity to present at the conference and help support teachers in Guatemala. Please help me as I partner with the Give and Teach mission this summer to make an impact on both the teachers and students there. Give and Teach is in the process of building and starting their own school in Guatemala.

I would greatly appreciate your support with funding that I can apply toward the Give and Teach mission project and toward my travel expenses. The conference will be held in June and will host 200 different teachers daily, totaling 800 teachers. The training will take place at the mission center in their new school. As an American and Guatemalan 501c3 foundation, they are approved by the Guatemalan government to provide certifiable professional development to Guatemalan teachers!

Our teacher team will meet virtually as a team in the months before the conference to plan presentations.
