Support a Teacher's Journey to Law School

Hi! Thank you for taking the time to read about my journey. After 14 years as a public school teacher, I have decided to pursue a career in law and will be attending the University of Denver for law school this fall (2025). This is both an exciting and daunting life change for me, but I know I am ready to succeed because of the continued support from my wonderful family and friends.

I am seeking to raise $3,000 for a new laptop and books for law school this fall. I know it is a lot to ask, especially in this current economic climate, so if nothing else, I appreciate your words of encouragement. Your kind energy helps me more than you may know.

Why do I need a new laptop? My personal laptop is 15 years old and no longer operable; I have been relying on school-issued Chromebooks they loan to public school teachers while working for a district. So at this time, I do not own a personal computer and am seeking help from my community to help get me started on the right foot this fall for law school.
