This school year I have had the good fortune to work with an amazing group of students on their National History Day projects. 7 of those students (4 total projects) are moving on to represent Minnesota and our school at the National contest in College Park, Maryland from June 13-19.

As their teacher I absolutely want to be there to cheer them on and participate in the Nationals experience. Unfortunately, our district is not willing to help fund their teachers and make this possible.

I hate to do this, but absolutely anything helps. National History Day is a project that is dear to my heart. It does more to help students grow academically than anything else we do. I appreciate anything you feel able to give or even if you’re just willing to share this with others.
