This fundraiser is for my wife, a dedicated Gwinnett County teacher, who was reassigned to a trailer classroom this year. After moving all her materials over the summer, she returned to find the space overtaken by black and green mold. The school condemned the trailer but is only replacing desks and clipboards—not the years of personal books, flexible seating, or supplies she purchased to support her students.

She teaches in a Dual Language Program (English/French) and works with high-performing kids who rely on those extra resources. With an autoimmune condition, this loss is especially difficult and rebuilding from scratch right before school starts is overwhelming.
