My name is Christella and I am a single mom of two sweet babies with autism. My daughter, 12, has autism level 1 and my son has level 2. In addition, I am also supporting my disabled mother who lives with me. The stress I'm experiencing has caused so many health issues that I'm struggling to address due to lack of time and support.
I work as a teacher and I drive for Lyft to make ends meet. However, due to surgeries and so many doctor's appointments, I have fallen behind on bills. My kids and I go to a doctor's appointment 4-5 times a week, not including daily therapy for my son. Due to this, I have not been able to drive for Lyft to make up the difference my salary doesn't pay for.
I am their sole provider. The phone calls, the doctor's appointments, the scrambling is all on me and it is more than I can carry.
I am reaching out for help. Right now, for the month of July, I was not able to afford my mortgage, car note, car insurance, and some other bills. I had oral surgery, a death in my family, my car broke down (AC stopped working), and several doctor's appointments all prevented me from being able to work for Lyft.
If you've read this far, I am grateful. My family all depend on me... and I have no one else to turn to. If you can donate, I'm grateful. If not, please share and please pray.
Trouble won't last always. Thank you in advance for helping get me through this tough time.
