Hello, everyone!

In case you're reading this and don't know me, my name is Steven Strafford-Elkins. I'm an actor, playwright, educator, dad, and avid Venus Williams fan.

Here's why I'm raising money.

I have a student who may be unable to pay the rest of their bill to attend the school where I work. This student is a promising young performer. They have talent and drive and ambition.

They work a job while studying and performing and running crew, and they just need some more support so they can finish their education. I am raising this amount to cover their tuition for the remainder of their time here. I am keeping this person anonymous as to not embarrass them with their peers.

I know times are tough and giving money to an unknown student feels maybe....odd? But please know that this student is a little piece of magic and it breaks my heart to think of them leaving school because of a bill that I know my community working together can cover.

This student has shown time and again that they can overcome obstacles to succeed. They figure things out at their own pace and then become unstoppable.

So, anything you can give would be appreciated. Let's help this student finish school and open doors that would otherwise stay closed. What this student need is access, opportunity, and time, and I believe, we, as a community can give that to them.
