Julia just got accepted into the Austria American Mozart Opera Academy's summer program in Saltzburg, Austria and she needs your help. The cost of getting her there, living expenses and tuition will be close to $5000. Can you help?
Here's her story... Julia Charette Poole (she/they) is a Junior co-majoring in Theatre and Vocal Performance at Albright College. In 6 semesters, Julia has been involved in every Albright production; 8 onstage roles including Celia (As You Like It), Little Becky Two-Shoes (Urinetown), The Dewfairy (Hänsel & Gretel), & Countess Charlotte Malcolm (A Little Night Music) and production roles including, Assistant Director (The Glass Menagerie), Dramaturg (The Revolutionists, Hooray for Fascism!), Wardrobe Crew (Amahl & The Night Visitors, Hänsel & Gretel), Wardrobe Supervisor (The Revolutionists) & Light Board Operator (Hooray for Fascism!).
Julia thrives working in the theatre. When she isn’t performing in a show, she will be found backstage working crew in some way or another. She is a fast study and even faster on her feet; with production experience in various areas in the theatre, she hopes to create a career of theatrical art making, in its many forms. Julia’s most recent design project was serving as the Director for the Domino Players Theatre Production of The Vagina Monologues, by V, and Albright’s mainstage production of A Little Night Music by Steven Sondheim, playing the role of Countess Charlotte Malcolm. Her performance in this musical earned her a Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival Musical Theatre Intensive nomination. She additionally serves as the Artistic Director of The Domino Players, where they are celebrating their 100th Season at Albright College, and she is a current Soprano I in the Albright Chorale. Julia is preparing on pursuing her Masters in Vocal Performance after her undergraduate graduation in Spring of 2026!
