I am currently facing severe financial hardship. I am living alone while attending school, but I cannot receive any support from my parents. Although I work a part-time job every week, I still do not have enough money for living expenses. As a student, it is difficult to get a loan, and I am in a situation where I cannot receive any immediate scholarship funds either.

My parents have become credit defaulters, making financial support from them impossible. I work part-time at a restaurant for 11,000 KRW an hour, but because I have to balance work with my university studies, it is difficult to earn even 1 million KRW a month. I have applied for various scholarships, but apart from some tuition support, they were all rejected, leaving me unable to cover my basic living expenses.

I was born into poverty in a rural area. I used to be a recipient of the basic livelihood security program, falling into the lowest income bracket. Thanks to the minimal support and help I received back then, I was able to enter Sungkyunkwan University, one of the top-tier universities in Korea. However, I am no longer eligible for basic livelihood security, and I am in a situation where I can hardly expect support from anyone else.

I earnestly ask for your help so that I can navigate through this difficult time. I may not be able to show you any tangible results right now, but I promise to successfully graduate from this university, secure a job in my desired fields of semiconductors or AI, and definitely give back to everyone who supports me.

I can verify all of the information above and will gladly provide the necessary documentation upon request. Furthermore, the donations will be used for the following purposes:

Monthly rent: 310,000 KRW (including a 10,000 KRW maintenance fee)

Monthly utilities (gas and electricity): 40,000 KRW

Monthly phone and internet bills: 60,000 KRW

Monthly transportation: 80,000 KRW (commuting to school and my part-time job)

University textbooks per semester: 150,000 KRW – 200,000 KRW

I plan to cover my food and other miscellaneous living expenses with my part-time job earnings. To ensure full transparency, I intend to share a monthly breakdown of my expenses along with how the funds were used. Additionally, as proof of my dedication to my studies, I will disclose my academic grades so you can be assured that your contribution was not in vain.
