I am an international student currently studying at LaSalle college Vancouver in Associate of Arts program. I came to Canada in 2024 with hopes of building a better future for my family.
 In December 2025, my life changed forever.
My two year old daughter became critically ill with myocarditis and, despite all efforts, she passed away. Losing my child has been the most devastating experience of my life. Since then I have been navigating deep grief while trying to stay strong and continue my education.
 I am currently receiving counselling support for my mental health, but the emotional and financial strain has become overwhelming.
Before this tragedy, I was working to support my tuition. Unfortunately,

• I lost my job
• My employer has not paid me for work already completed
• I have no stable income now

My family in India had already made a huge sacrifice by selling a piece of land to support my studies here. I cannot ask them for more help.
At this moment, I am at risk of losing everything I worked for. 
I have two tuition installments remaining, totalling $13,630 and I am expected to complete my program by September 2026. This education is my only path forward to build my career after loss.
I am alone in Canada, with very limited support.
I am asking for help, not just financially, but for a chance to continue, to heal, and to create a future, despite everything I have gone through.
Every contribution, no matter how small, brings me one step closer to completing my education and standing back on my feet.
