Support a student Documentary Film Crew

Hello

My Name is Mica Emslie-Payne, I was born and raised in Darwin and am hoping to return with a small student production crew to create a documentary about the Voice to Parliament Referendum.

As a first time voter I've spent alot of time trying to understand my own obligations as a voter in regard to this important decision and I aim to help other first time voters gain a deeper understanding of what is involved.

The documentary intends to interview local figures from the Top end such as Charlie King and Thomas mayo to better understand how life experience and perspectives have shaped people's opinions around the voice & provide further context as to how this referendum will impact Northern Australian's.

The production crew consists of: Director & Producer (Myself), Cinematographer, Gaffer & Location Sound (Ben Keller), Editor (Jaqcues Garnaut), Post production supervisor (Stephanie Williams) and Executive Producer/ Lecturer (Richard Moore).

As we are a student production we are raising funds to assist the costs of travel / Equipment for the Director and Cinematographer to film this in Darwin. Funds will also be contributed towards Film festival submissions.
