Support Ana and Her Family: A Single Mother Facing Violence, Illness, and Deportation
Ana is a resilient and courageous mother of three who has faced unimaginable challenges. Fleeing violence in Mexico after the abduction of her oldest daughter by a cartel, she came to the U.S. seeking safety and a better future for her children. But her fight is far from over.
Now living under a newly heightened daily fear of deportation, battling health challenges for herself and her children, and struggling to make ends meet, Ana needs our support. Together, we can help her provide a safe and stable life for her family.
Why We’re Asking for Help
Ana’s life is a constant battle of survival.
She is undocumented, with a lapsed asylum case and a looming deportation order. The daily fear of being separated from her children, combined with financial struggles, has made it difficult for her to work or even run basic errands. Her car, though insured, lacks proper registration and license plates, making it risky to use.
Adding to this stress, Ana faces ongoing health issues. She’s still recovering from precancerous growths and complications from preeclampsia after the birth of her youngest daughter. Her children are also struggling:
Addison (10 years old), her oldest, suffers from debilitating joint pain and swelling that have prevented her from walking and attending school.
Jireh (5 years old) has been diagnosed with Autism and requires extensive care and support.
Alaiya (1 year old), her youngest, has been battling recurrent illnesses since birth.
Ana has done everything in her power to navigate the complex web of social services while working multiple jobs, but the challenges are overwhelming.
How You Can Help
We’re raising funds to help Ana and her children stabilize their lives and focus on their health and safety. Here’s how your donation can make a difference:
$850/month for rent: Ensuring they have a safe and stable home while Ana cares for her children.
Car registration and repairs: Making Ana’s car legal and safe to drive so she can get to work, medical appointments, and run errands without fear.
Living expenses: Covering basics like diapers, formula, gas, and phone service to keep her connected to vital resources.
Legal support: Helping Ana’s oldest daughter pursue a U Visa, which would provide a pathway to citizenship and safety.
Ana’s Story
Ana’s journey has been one of survival and strength. She fled Mexico after her oldest daughter was abducted by a cartel. When she sought justice, her life and her infant’s life were threatened, forcing her to leave everything behind.
Her challenges didn’t end in the U.S. She became pregnant with Jireh after being violated by her boss, and when she bravely spoke out, he tried to silence her by running her over with his car. Despite all of this, Ana chose to keep her baby, and Jireh has been a source of joy and love in her life.
Ana is dedicated to giving her children the safety and opportunities she never had, but the cost of being poor is unbearable. Every illness, every obstacle, every month’s rent feels like an impossible mountain to climb.
We’ve been supporting Ana for five years, but her family’s needs have outgrown what we can provide alone. Ana’s strength inspires us daily, and we’re asking you to join us in encircling her family with the support they need to survive and thrive.
Every dollar makes a difference. Whether it’s $5 or $500, your generosity will help Ana secure a safer, healthier, and more stable future for her family.
Thank you for your compassion and support.
