My sister has always faced life’s challenges with quiet strength and grace. She’s a hardworking single mother of two beautiful girls, her youngest being a child with special needs who lives with epilepsy and cerebral palsy. Despite everything she’s had to manage on her own, she has never asked for help and has always put her daughters’ needs before her own.

Now, after years of quietly battling health issues, she’s facing an emergency hysterectomy that will require several weeks of recovery. Her job does not provide paid time off, which means she will be without income while she heals.
