We are reaching out as friends of Tania - one of the strongest women we know.

She’s a single mum to three amazing kids, aged 15, 13, and 10, and has faced more trauma in the past few years than most of us will in a lifetime.

In December 2024, Tania found a lump and received the devastating diagnosis of grade 2 breast cancer. She bravely began chemotherapy, enduring four intense rounds until serious complications forced her to stop. Pancreatitis, brought on by gallstones, has left her unable to eat anything with even a hint of fat, and now she faces two major surgeries: one to remove her gallbladder and another for her breast cancer.

All of this while caring for her children, getting one of them through his GCSE’s and keeping their home together.

Her bathroom, especially, is in urgent need of repairs. It is barely functional, and with 2 teenagers in the house, this is not at all fun. Her pay has now decreased but the expense of kids and bills stays the same. With a long recovery ahead of her she needs a functioning bathroom!

That’s where we come in. We’re Tania’s friends, and we want to give her this gift but can’t do it on our own!

We know we can’t take away her illness or the trauma she’s experienced, but we can do this. We want to show her that she’s not alone and that even in the toughest times, there’s still hope and lots of kindness in the world.

We’re aiming to raise enough to fund a complete bathroom renovation.
