I am wishing all of you who has taken the time to read this well and a blessed year.

I am a support person and has a client who is dear to me as I personally don’t see my clients as just that but as family. With the mother’s permission I have set this up to reach out to the kind hearted people in the world to hope we can make it possible to complete the surgery for her son providing relief and as a mother comfort of doing everything possible for her kids.

This mother of 3 has had a rough transition into single parenthood, the mother being limited to family support due to family being in another country unable to assist financially.

This mother within the last year was exposed to family violence, financial abuse, emotional abuse and isolation.

The mother and her children went into a private refuge through government supports where she was supported to find government housing.

This mother is now in a safe home, has limited support and is on her way to completing the pathways to work as a nurse. She has 3 children who she has dedicated everything to providing them with a safe and loving home.

The youngest son has recently been diagnosed glue ear where water is clogging up his ears resulting in no speech and other delays suspected. After many private appointments due to the wait of the public sector she was advised by the paediatrician and ENT that her son’s delay in speech and potential development requires Gromit surgery.

The mother has applied for carer payments and has not been working long enough to utilise any super options, loans or advances on her payments to have the surgery paid for. The waiting time for the public sector has been suspected 2-3 year wait which would only delay the development of her youngest.
