It is with a heavy heart and great sadness that my home has a been burned down. I lost all of my belongings, my kids belongings, and endless memories. All we have are the clothes on our backs. Thank god we were not in the home and we are safe.
April 19, 2025 10:04 pm I called 911 I thought I heard water dripping as I was laying down going to bed. I got up to check the bathroom and smelled smoke I turnt on the light and smoke was rushing out the bathroom fan vent. I immediately rushed to my daughter room and alerted her and we ran out alerting other residents and my daughter ran back in to get us some shoes and no smoke alarm was going off at all. We lost everything within minutes. It took 4 hours for the fire to be put out. My daughter lost every memory of her recently deceased father. We are striving so hard to start over from this crisis but it was so unexpected. Botsford Terrace Apartments has left their tenants outside homeless with no compassion, no return of our security deposit, and no explanation or resources offered to comfort us during these times. Any donations are appreciated as we strive to rebuild our lives.
I am asking for help during this unexpected tragedy.
