Support a Single Mom's Urgent Car Repairs

Hi there! My name is Sam and I’m a single mom raising 2 amazing kiddos, 11 and 14.

I'm purchasing a 2008 Subaru from a friend and I’m looking for help getting some work done on it. I bought the car used and I keep encountering issues which have totaled over $1,000 so far. But I think I’ve gotten to the point where I have to admit I need help.

I’ve already been struggling as is, and of course, right when I’m feeling some sort of relief, I get bombarded with more car issues.

I maxed out my credit card getting the prior repairs done. The latest repair totals $911 and I need about $600 more to get the rest of the work done. The $600 I’m asking for will go towards replacing the right and left valve cover gaskets and the oil cooler seal.

I need a reliable and safe car for my 20-minute drive to my job. I’m so stressed. I don’t want to keep pushing the car until it gets worse and everything ends up costing more to fix… or worse, something happens while driving and I get into an accident with my children in the car.
